I will be making the trip from North Carolina early in the day, searching for a decent seat. I have a perfect record of never missing a UConn - Tennessee game at TBA. This should be quite an interesting game. I hope the building is as loud and raucous as last time.

I feel like this is one of those games were its they got Bueckers and we dont...we have to find somebody who is willing to make life hard for her WITHOUT fouling take on that challenge force Strong and everybody else to beat us......we cant have her scoring at will and dishing getting teammates going....

Bueckers, Strong, Azzi can all three score a bunch. Last season their "out-of-nowhere scorer" was Shade. Someone who normally doesn't lead them in scoring seems to have her best game ever against us -- every season. I think it was Ducharme the season before that. The player who it feels like has been there since the mid-90s, Aubrey Griffin, came up big for them another time. It's gonna be SOMEbody's career night.

Tennessee, if you've been losing those other games because you were saving up some points to spend beating UConn, I won't complain.

It's hard to believe that Paige Bueckers, a fifth-year senior, has only faced the LVols once, in the 20-21 season. For those that can't remember that was the covid year and only a handful of fans were allowed in the building.

I would love for the LVs to win but they are simply out gunned with 5 stars from the get. Strong will be a load for us to handle along with Beckers, Brady, Fudd and company. Now if they get their three mojo going they have a chance and it will be a close one. If they play like they did against Missouri and leave out the welcome mat in the paint, it could get ugly. I believe they will be pumped up for this game and bring out the dawg in them, if they do, this will be a tight game. However, to be honest, I believe we will play well but take it on the chin from UCONN. I hope I am wrong, what a win that would be.
