Don't look now, but South Carolina is getting their game on for yet another run at The Big Apple. With a win over Ole Miss tonight, Columbia is buzzing with dreams of an NIT three-peat. Thoughts of even making the storied tournament field was considered all but a pipe dream in recent weeks. But victories over Tennessee and Ole Miss have now made things interesting.

I actually saw a graphic toward the end of the game tonight that showed SC as an NCAA bubble team. :wacko:

I think they'd have to win out and get to the SEC tournament final and hope for a lot of help.

If they won out, Carolina would still only be 6-10 in the conference. The only way we make it in is by winning the conference tournament. We made it to the championship game last year and lost by 1 or 2 to Florida and still didn't make it in.

As of right now, South Carolina has done nothing to be considered for the dance.
