Gameday at Penn State???

Wow, shocked that they aren't in Blacksburg where 2 top 15 teams are meeting up in Miami and Va Tech.

Instead they are in State College where Penn State plays Iowa???? Who almost lost to Northern Iowa?

I don't even worry about where they go anymore, its getting ridiculous.

Bama v Arkansas or Tche v Houston would have been my top two. I know they wouldnt do two tche games in a row though.

figured it out. the Iowa-PSU game is the primetime ABC game at 8. Which, proves my theory that gameday has turned into ABC homers and will continue to go to the place which the primetime ABC game takes place. Its their station though they do what they must, I dont even watch gameday anymore. which is sad because i used to get up every saturday and couldnt wait kick off a great day of college football with college gameday.

Weren't they already in Blacksburg once this year? If so, perhaps that had something to do with the decision as well.

And as for them being ABC homers, I'm pretty sure that ESPN and ABC are both still owned by the same company, so it would make sense for them to promote that game.

They haven't been in Blacksburg, but they were at the Bama-VT game.

Since ABC got the primetime Saturday night game, Gameday has been predominantly going to that site, no matter the matchup. It's usually a pretty decent game but this weekend's is brutal.
