Desmond had Cal at #4 (WTF)

Fowler called Desmond out on the Cal pick due to the TN blowout.

Fowler also said, when showing Vandy/UGA highlights, that the Vandy Field Goal had "Stepped on their (UGAs) faces with a hobnailed boot...and broke thier noses.":rock2:

I didn't listen, but my dad had to work today (he's a cop) and listened to the game in his cruiser. He said its always fun to listen to Munson when UGA loses. Wish I'd heard him last week!!!

You have to admit Cal is very much a different team now than the one we played in Knox. That said, I put us and Cal at #5 and #6 in my poll, respectively.

Cal hasn't played a team with half the talent of the team they met in Knoxville. Bring them back next Saturday and Nate Longshore will look like a fool again and Marshawn Lynch will not look like a Heisman candidate again.

Perhaps. Tell me, who would you put in front of them? I'd put my money on only five teams to beat Cal right now, hence they are sixth.

CAL has grown better but so have alot of teams in the last 5 games to include the Vols. Vols should keep winning and when the do late in the season that is when these discussions will have more meaning. Do love the promise of what is to come.

It's funny watching the same people that overrated Cal in the preseason overrate them all over again. The first time they come up a team that can play defense and apply pressure, they'll lay down again.

I think Cal will give USC a good run....That will be a good game....USC will win but Cal will be a tough out......I saw where they said we were the best one loss team in the country, and I think that its a good argument...If we can win this last stretch of SEC games I'd have to say we are....Maybe even if the right things happen and we get in the SECCG and win it...But that's a lot of if's

All that being said, has the BCS rankings come out yet? Or will they come out later today?

What are they projecting the Vols at? Last I saw, which was like Thursday or Friday night, was #6? And I don't really see that happening

I, personally, think Cal will beat USC. That, or USC will blow Cal out. USC has had trouble in 3 consecutive weeks with considerably weaker opponents than Cal, but they may be holding back(doubt it though).

I saw us projected at 7:

1. OSU
2. USC
3. UF
4. Mich
5. UL
6. ND
7. UT
8. Texas
9. WVU
10. Auburn???

I don't know how that will work out now with UGA losing, Auburn beating UF, UL winning slim vs. Cincy. My guess is that those will likely be the same 10, just not in that order. That is, unless UF drops from the top 10 and Cal jumps in, though I doubt UF would drop that hard.

I would like to know how ND and Louisville are ahead of us, they both overrated....So is West Virginia but they aren't ahead of us so that don't really matter

USC is overrated as well(7 point win over WSU, 6 point win over UW, 7 point win over ASU). I really don't see how ND is rated higher, but they go on a downhill slide from here with only one big game left(USC). We still have LSU and Arky which should help our cause. We also have a chance at the SECCG.

ND still has to play Air Force, that should be a game for them.....Only thing not in Air Force's favor is the fact that their defense is horrible...But you're right the USC game is the only big game that they have left....You mentioned LSU and Arky, don't forget Vandy, with a win over a top 25 team yesterday that will really help up with them being a bottom tier team and what not...But that makes our win over UGA look less impressive, I kinda had mixed feelings about that game

Air Force may give them some trouble, but don't they play every year? The flexbone is extremely hard to stop for a team that never sees it, but not as hard to stop for a team that sees it every year.

I'm not real sure if they do or not....You may be right...Who else does ND got? West VA and Louisville will be a game to watch for us, that game could determine if we go to a BCS bowl or not depending on who wins it....Bottom line though, either way, we still have got to win out for us to make a BCS Bowl
