I never rely on movie critics. Point in case, the critics pick the oscars and most of those movies are artsy crap movies. This one was very well made.

I like a wide range of films. Artsy movies are made to win the awards, the rest are there for entertainment and making money. I enjoy a lot of artsy films. This is on my list to see ASAP.

ZDT, Argo, and Django are not "arsty crap". They are good movies, period.

I have not seen Gangster Squad but if what most of the critics are saying is true then this is a highly stylized movie with no depth and a worn out story that has seen better days with movies like LA Confidential. I will wait for DVD.
