Something i have always wondered about this guy.
How on earth does CBS give a Purdue QB a job broadcasting SEC games on their network?
I cant stand this guy granted i see everything w/ my orange colored glasses but he really is a moron.
Just thought i would share...lol

What does where you played have to do with anything? That's pretty common. For many years Blackledge did our games and he was a Penn St. guy.

Why don't you like him? I'd say someone who played many years in the NFL as a QB is at least serviceably knowledgable.

Who cares who the announcers like or played for....the more in the media against the Vols the better.

let's all face the reality of our situation, the national media (with a couple of exceptions) does not favor the Vols. Im just happy that FSU, Miami, and OU are sucking wind, but now they've all turned into Brady Quinn's secret lovers

Thats way the Vols are behind Cal in the BCS. You can say the more the media is against us the better....but that is BULL. ESPN's coverage and CBS' lack of kills Tennessee at times.

I thought the announcers in general stunk. They were fairly prepaired for SC (they were ready for Sid to pull out his prayer book on the sideline), but it didn't seem like they had any prep for UT. There were several opportunities they could have talked about Vol players but didn't. The worst of which was the Jon Heffney angle. The guy rips off a big return, is pumped up, and the announcers don't even mention he is from SC????
