Gatlinburg Xmas Parade

I drove three hours here to see the Gatlinburg Xmas Parade. The Tennessee Cheerleaders drove by in the back of a flatbed.I have seen the parade for years and didn't recall ever seeing the cheerleaders before.Then it dawned on me that they probably have always had to practice for the bowl game.Not this year though. Just an observation I thought I'd share.

Not when it started.

Basically, a couple of nights ago the cheerleaders got drunk and started bitching about the season. When they came to they were piled on the back of a flat-bed truck headed the hell out of Knoxville with a couple of thousand ticked off Vol fans stumbling along in their wake. When the bunch got locked up in the Gatlinburg traffic, the Chamber of Commerce decided they might as well stick a Santa up front and claim it was a parade.
