Not sure why an explanation or further breakdown is necessary.

back to the OP.

I know who Del Rio is, what about Maye, Dillard, David, Cox, Herdon, Worton, Jordan?

Del Rio - starting QB (although there's little drop off with Appleby)
Davis (not David) - starting MLB
Anzalone - starting OLB
Maye - starting SS
Jefferson - starting DE/DT
Cox - starting DE
Sharpe - starting LT
Dillard - starting C
Jordan - starting RG who moved to C when Dillard was injured

Herndon and Worton are backups who mostly play special teams.

So while I don't expect any sympathy whatsoever from the natives, I'd say our injuries are somewhat significant. :)

I could be proven wrong Saturday but I don't see how they beat LSU.

Florida's defensive line must destroy LSU's offensive line similar to what Alabama did. I am not seeing much weakness in LSU other than that. Florida's defensive line must be dominating.

LSU is playing at a high level right now. I'll be surprised if the Gators can get a win down there. Didn't realize they were so beat up.

Any word on Fournette - he left the game Sat night with an ankle injury

Hard to say. He really isn't going to get healthier during the year, his ankle is shot. I think most fans want him to sit but is probably his last home game of his career.

You'll probably get a good load of Guice either way, split carries at best for Fournette. I would love to see Brousette get more carries but he is still recovering from knee surgery.

I know Anzalone made a LOT of tackles for the gators. He'll be missed.

Probably a good strategy is load the box and force Earthlink to beat them.

Florida's defensive line is going to need a monster game whether the box is loaded or not. I still like Guice over Fournette, generally, as Guice has much better vision at the point of attack which is why he averages nearly 2 yards more a carry than Fournette over the last 2 years. Guice is effective in the pistol formation (spread) where as Fournette really isn't that effective. I think loading the box against Guice works against the defense but can be very effective when Fournette is in the game.

Florida's DL has to have a monster game and force 3rd and long, and then they have to destroy LSU's OL in pass protection. LSU's weakness is a OL that can't pass protect.... Etling is lucky he hasn't been to the hospital yet. Florida's DL must expose this weakness but that requires them winning 1st down.

Guess they should have played LSU in October............

On a more important note, UT has to win the last 2 games.
