Gators a Fad? Who wins in the end?

My thoughts on the gators with orange glasses off:

They will eventually be a passing fad....look at their past (not so awesome). They are like cut off sweats in the 80's, poodle skirts in the 50's, and hippies in the 60's -70's. The only teams that will matter in the SEC when its said and done are Tennessee and Alabama (I hate to say that about Bama). So enjoy gator fans. In the end history will be ours.

Alabama and LSU are about the only 2 teams who have ever mattered in the SEC west, but as far as the East goes, TN, FLA and GA all deserve to be up there.

Florida isn't going anywhere.

Being the premier universiity in the state of Florida, you have the recruiting pipeline of one of the best recruiting states. As long as Urban Meyer remains there, they are a top 5-7 program every year. Almost -anyone- can recruit successfully at Florida, although Ron Zook proved that you also need some smarts between your ears, so to speak.

I don't see them going anywhere. I DO however foresee an episode of celebrity deathmatch featuring lane kiffin and Urban Meyer. lol
