again i wana say congrats, we saw 2 verry even matched teams last nite, i am proud of our kids, and i just want to remind everyone, that we are not playing just to beat florida and bama every year, we are playing for an sec championship, and we are by no means outa the hunt, UGA is and always will be the wild card in the east, so we still need everyone out at every game, making neyland as loud and intimidateing as possible, dont get down just because we lost to a damn good team who i underestimated quite a bit.

:good!: to the gators and law gator and the other gator fans.

Thank you for that. It was a very exciting game. I agree that the SECE is up for grabs. We have an advantage, but a long way to go.

oh we're out trust me...The Dawgs might take Florida but we're out.

I think you are so wrong about being out of it. Seven more SEC games to play and you are writing yourself off because you know you won't be undefeated at 0-1?

I honestly think it is that mindset that killed your team last year. When things started going downhill, no one stepped up and said let's work harder and be better. You caught some tough breaks last year and gave up. I hope and expect that your team does not share your thinking.

we're not completely out of it yet....beat UGA and it's still wide open...lose to UGA, and then i'm right there with you.

Our running game will have to improve dramatically for us to have any shot. You do have to give Florida a lot of credit for our poor rushing performance. It is not like we were struggling to run against a weak defense. Their front 7 is going to be the best we face this year. The LSU game is going to be tough, too.

Congrats, Lawgator. We lost to a better team. The thought of facing Tebow for the next few years gives me nightmares.

I agree with what a lot was said. But, to stay positive, we didn't play great. We played a really good team, and only lost by one, and could have easily won. We needed to play great to win; we only played good. We still havn't played our best football, and if we had the other night, I know that we'd be on top.

I feel good about going to Arky, Florida not so much.
re ARk...on the surface i would agree with you...but i think you are geting ARk at the wrong time...they're reeling a bit after the Vandy game...i expect them be really up for the Bama game, this will be thier first chance to put a big w in the column...and in front of the home crowd...could be tough. i won't be suprised either way.

conversely, Bama from what i've seen, is still trying to "find itself"...this is a big game for both of those teams...

I think the Vols need to put a bit STAR next on the calendar for the UGA date, because that becomes the make-it or break-it game for the Vols SECE chances. Obviously all SEC games are important, but when you figure that the SECE is a 3-way race this year, and the Vols have fallen one game back of UF, they can't afford to fall a game back of UGA as well.

If UT beats UGA, it pretty much evens things up in the East. Not discounting the importance of games against Western Division teams, but IMHO, if UT loses to UGA, they're not going to win the SECE unless both UF and UGA REALLY screws up against the West. With UGA's light Western Division schedule, I just don't see that happening.

Thanks for the positive props that you gave to all Gator fans, but it was just one game in a VERY long season. So much football yet to be played, and every week the drama gets a bit more intense.

I love SEC football!
