General Recruiting Question

Alright recruiting gurus, I need help. I keep looking at a recruits' pages on Rivals and they have yet to receive any stars. When do they get around to giving these out? I understand they attempt to pick their top 100/250, but what about the others, and what percentage of players that sign D-1 schollys do they evaluate? I know stars are by no means the end all be all, but can somone enlighten me? We discuss a lot of players on here that have "yet to be evaluated". When will they?

Rivals is always receiving tape and doing evals. Most players will have their position/star rating by the time September or October gets here. As far as players getting schollies, I would say that 4 outta 5 players that are rated get schollies. Some go the JUCO/Prep route to get their grades worked out and then most get signed later.

Thanks Eric, I figured somone on here would know. I lurk and read all day, and hardly ever post, but I would say I just really started to follow recruiting last year. Its still hard for me to look at film and discern what makes a large diff from a 3* to a 4*, and I just like the opionions of a so called expert. I will say that I would rather read the opinions on this board than anywhere else.
