No, Geno, other programs need to win more. Right now, women's basketball is the top-heaviest of almost all college sports. The fact that they have a 64 team tournament is ridiculous, considering that there are only enough good teams to put together a 16 team bracket, at best.

Let's not forget that UT got beat in the first round two years ago--so while the big dogs still rule, there is increasingly more balance. Marquette gave us all we could handle night the night before last--playing at home. And, really, is men's basketball less top heavy: Duke, UNC, Kansas are three of the four favorites this year. Duke won last year. The men's game has more parity--but it's been around a helluva lot longer.

Yes, they need to pare that tournament down and run it earlier. Why they go the same time as the men is a dumb mystery to me.
