and trash all of our brackets...
Ohio has guards who are quick enough the give the Hoyas big problems. (Think DAVIDSON)
Bassett has NCAA tournament experience with his 21 points against San Diego State while starter for Indiana three years ago. Bassett can carry a team like Ohio. DJ his backcourt mate in top 10 in nation in assist and steals. Tommy Freeman shoots 50% from behind the arc. Bobcats will push the ball up and down the court and try to get the Hoyas to bite. This gets the Bobcats transistion buckets and better looks. Bobcats frontline is small, but very athletic they will run the full court. Wouldn't be surprised to Ohio press Georgetown to get them out of half court where Hoyas hold the avantage.

Im not even worried about SD ST. The experts dont even believe it themsleves...

UT/OHIO for the chance at Sweet 16!:rock::rock:

That's an awefully bold statement, but just as UT has been inconsistent this season so has Georgetown. It ALL depends on WHO SHOWS UP. You can't count anyone out of it. Also you want to talk about ETSU? They were the same team that almost knocked Pitt out of the tourney either last year or year before. Should be exciting though..

Gtown will win, but people are overhyping Gtown big time. They are ok but if they were that great then they would not have 10 loses. They had a nice run in the big east touney and now people are overvalueing them. If Tennessee beats SDSU, and i think that they will, UT will give Gtown all they want and more IMO. We did beat the same Gtown team last year. They have made improvements but we have too.

No they are not. They start 6'10 249 van Kempen and 6'8 263 Keely. Washington, at 6'8 225 comes off the bench. Gtown has 6'11 247 Monroe, 6'9 245 Vaughn, and 6'7 205 Thompson off the bench.

Those are both teams bigs. Both thin in the post; they can bring in one more 6'8 guy each, but neither team likes to play their 4th low post guy.

You just want all of us to now go with Ohio, so you can pick Georgetown and keep your brackets intact...sly, but you'll have to get up earlier to fool this crowd...nice try

They have some head-scratchers in the loss column, but when they are on they are damn good.

Probably not much more than wishful thinking. 3 seed going down in the first round would be nice. How did they get a 3 seed with 10 losses.

Had the toughest schedule in college basketball.

Overstated. They played Duke OOC so it sticks them above the rest of the Big East. Duke also played as poorly as possible. Their schedule wast worth 3 or 4 more losses than say Villanova's. The Freeman losses I'll give them, however.

The NIT does that to you, no?

Duke played poorly. Lol. They have done that the last 5 years when they actually play somone. Its the other team being better not Duke playing poorly. I guess that explains the 4-8 record against UNC over the recent years. If your referring to UNC with the NIT comment its what happens after you have a great team. Duke just has mediocre teams now thats overrated during the season. UNC will be back on top next year and Duke will still be in the top 10 all season then in the NCAA Tournament they will lose by 20 points to a Big East team in the sweet 16 (if they make it that far) :cray:. So if that makes you happy them talk on.

Ba-zing! :birgits_giggle:

Oh yeah and Georgetown is winning this game. The guy that played for Davidson is doing what he was doing in the college in the NBA now. He def. made that team.

You're lost in the conversation. If Duke's resume is mediocre this year, UT need not even apply.

Your point about Davidson is stupid. He said the were quick. They weren't remotely. That Davidson kid's problem us that he isn't quick enough to be anything but a shooter in the NBA.

UNC frontrunning douchebags have to hate some NIT if the excuse du jour has become "that's what you do after winning."
