Georgia DC Todd Grantham fired?

The second DC Richt has let go in what 3 years?

He is trying to save his arse just like Fulmer did.
I never thought Richt was in jeopardy of losing his job. I do think he is this year. Losing to Vandy was an embarrassment. I think a couple more loses he is history. His team is falling apart.

Heard this but never saw it confirmed.

It's also out there that he has decided to step down at the end of the year to help with the transition.

False rumors. However, it is true that the world's most inept coordinator battle will be taking place next Saturday: Grantham v. Pease.

He is easily the weakest link on that staff. I'm not sure how he survived last year with all the talent on that defense versus their overall stats.

he needs to finish off the Franklin ass kicking before he's gone. Grantham is not Ga.'s problem. It's Richt. Soft team, physically and mentally unprepared. Richt, instead of visiting his boys at some fricking church choir, would serve his team much better if he met them out behind the wood shed.

Georgia has almost always reminded me of UCLA. Very common to have a ton of highly ranked recruits, high profile coach and yet they lose games they are expected to win and typically under perform expectations.

If so, I predict he goes to a lower conference for a couple of years, proves his talent, and is hired at one of UGA's rivals to coach their D up to vast improvement in his first year there.

I see what you did there. Deja Vu for Richt?
