Georgia dismisses another projected starter

He was literally not even close to being a starter, that was a reason for his horrible attitude.

He was a 5-star, #2 OLB in America coming out of HS. He played in 13 games as a true Freshman. He was given #1 because Kirby thought he was special. He’s listed as starter at LB on UGA’s post-spring depth chart. So now that he’s leaving, Georgia people acting like he was a walk-on scrub.

Georgia has had 8 transfers, including the highest profile transfer in all of college football, Justin Fields, more arrests than your average crack ho, dudes not qualifying, injures, etc.

And this latest distraction comes awfully close to the season. Kirby needs to regain control, quick.

Of course he transferred because in his mind somehow he thought he would start over a guy that had just taken us to a NC appearance as a freshman.

They spend like drunks in a casino to get them and then watch them speed-walk out the door a year later. 😂

Georgia fans will want Kirby fired after these 4 losses this year. I can hear it now. “bring Richt back!”
Georgia's going to lose 4 times this year? Are you including a SECCG loss and bowl game loss in that total, because I don't see any way how they lose 4 regular season games. How do you come up with 4 losses...Notre Dame, Florida, at Auburn, and A&M?

Again, if dumpster fire means elite recruiting classes, 24-5 (14-2) with an SEC title, 2 division titles, and almost winning a national title over the past 2 years, sign me up.

“Almost winning a national title.” 😂. If that’s a thing, add 2001, 2012 to Florida’s list of achievements. Only a Georgia fan would list “almost” winning a championship as an accomplishment.

Georgia loses to Florida, A&M, Auburn and then they’ll drop another one amongst; Tennessee, SC or Missouri. I don’t trust Notre Dame to do anything. I think UT could beat UGA in Knoxville.

Oh, and Georgia has always had these bang-up recruiting classes, going all the way back to the 90’s. Nobody has gotten less bang for their buck from a recruiting standpoint than Georgia. You don’t hang banners for recruiting classes.

Yep, care if we share a Table? Rumors are we aren’t even going to take a team to Nashville.

Those rumors are brutal I tell ya.

Rumor has it since we lost to UK for the first time 38 years, UF is considering forfeiting this season’s game in Lexington.

They've always recruited well, but never this well until Kirby got there. Goff, Donnan, and Richt did not recruit like this. They all recruited well, especially Richt, but not like this.

By the way, saying that I (speaking as a Tennessee fan) would trade places with them doesn't mean Georgia fans should be OK with simply almost winning a title. Dude, we've gone 4-8 and 5-7 over the last 2 years. I'd be crazy if I said I didn't want to trade places with Georgia as far as where our respective programs currently stand, right? I mean, I'd trade places with Florida too.

If you've read my posts here you'll know I'm no Georgia apologist - believe I've stated multiple times they're the most underachieving athletic department (not just football, talking the entire AD) in the country since at least the early 80s. Georgia should have at least 3-4 football national titles, if not many more, since 1980. The dynastic program of the SEC should really be Georgia, not Alabama.

The temperature of Kirby's seat this year will not get warm because of losses. If it gets warm and IMO it's highly likely it does, it will be due to how they lose.

I’m still thinking of driving up for the opener in Nashville, you know, hot chicken and all.

Has to do with the trajectory of the program, just like with any other coach.

In 3 years Kirby has gone 8-5, 13-2 with an SEC title/CFP appearance, 11-3 with an East title and NY6 bowl loss. From what I can gather, Dawg fans want him to make the CFP every year, which usually means winning the SEC but not always. A second consecutive year without a playoff appearance will be seen as a pretty obvious regression for him. At that point, Kirby finds himself in a pretty funny spot because the elite recruiting he can point to as a continued positive actually makes him look worse because it'll highlight the underachieving.

IMO, a loss to someone other than Saban in the SECCG (or an outright miss of the SECCG, but that goes without saying) is what it'll take to get his seat really hot. Of course they'll be pulling their hair out at a 3rd consecutive loss to Saban, but then again he is the greatest to have ever coached. If Florida wins the East, or if they lose to someone other than Alabama in the SECCG (like LSU), he probably comes into 2020 having the win the SEC to stay out of dire straits.

Florida is good at everything. Except women’s basketball.

Go win a championship in football this millennium and then you can lecture the rest of us on how to run football programs.
Have to acknowledge truth. Worst part of going to a game in Gainesville is sitting through all the National Championship or whatever teams announced. And across every sport It would seem.

That’s an odd flex. It’s Brandon JAMES and he made a career out of torching Tennessee. You realize he was 4-0 versus UT, right? That guy was probably more responsible for the demise of Fulmer than anyone. UT fans turned on Fulmer because he couldn’t figure out how to NOT kick to that guy. He returned like 5 kicks for TD’s against you. Yet, that was the play you remember? 😂

I've been thinking UGA seems to have trouble keeping their players focused. They apparently blew the Sugar bowl bc they were distracted. I remember some dudes arrested in the spring due to drugs and stuff, some transfers, now this at the beginning of fall camp.

To me that speaks to a lack of leadership amongst the players.

Their best WR dismissed, their projected starter at OLB dismissed and a whole lot of other attrition in between. We’re not talking about 3rd and 4th stringers who have never played a down simply transferring, we’re talking about dudes were were pencilled-in as ones and twos on the depth chart.

Florida can beat Georgia, I sure would like to see more UT fans becoming convinced that they too can beat Georgia.

I'd rather see the UT players becoming convinced......

Yep. 13 arrests and 9 transfers this offseason after getting their asses handed to them by Texas, after Kirby begged to be included in the playoff. They’ve had a bad run.

If you don’t like what we remember? Remember somewhere else. We do what we want...you’ve changed zero minds since you first graced.

Wrong. Florida sucks at fan message boards. Volnation has that on lock.
