I just told my son the same thing. I think we’d beat them if our QB play was on point and even if it wasn’t, I still think it’d be a game.

...And some here believe we do not have a chance against Oklahoma next year. I’m not guaranteeing a win but I believe we can be competitive and then anything can happen.

I believe Georgia peaked the last couple of years. Regardless of this game , their regression has already started.

Recruiting the way they have, unfortunately they aren't going anywhere. We are going to have to beat them to change things.

This. Kirby continues to haul in top-tier classes. Even if all he does is win the East and go to a NY6 bowl every year, he's still in our way.

If wins were based on recruiting then they would already have 2 NC’s under their belt. Like many here on VN , I believe Kirby may be a great recruiter but a less than ideal HC. Florida and UT are going to catch up.

Yes. I don’t think he can beat the recruiting advantage though. We need to beat the Ga Sts and BYUs on our schedule and up our bagman game before we see it on the scoreboard. JMO.

Not so sure. Pickens has done well and Fromm has recovered from the early errors but their run blocking has been average, especially up the middle. Maybe that's due to Swift being out.

Unfortunately, recruiting is a huge part of coaching in college football and their lowest ranked recruiting class, #6, graduates this year.

Georgia will be preseason top 5 and may end with the number 1 recruiting class. They will own the east division for the foreseeable future

They regressed this year in both play on the field and recruiting and that is 100% factual. Saying they regressed does not mean they are irrelevant yet.

It’s possible but seems unlikely unfortunately. I was really hoping Georgia would come out soft and stay that way like last bowl season
