As a resident of the state of Georgia I found it extremely dumb that they(Ga politicians)actually thought they were entitled to the Tennessee river because they think that the southern part of Tennessee around Chattanooga was there's due to some land disagreement form many, many years ago.

Not really a disagreement. The border is flat out not where it's supposed to be. Doubt it would ever get moved now, but it's pretty clear that they put the southern border of Tennessee about 200 yards too far south.

Ok let's say that's the truth and that 200 yards is theirs. Doesn't it look pretty crappy to wait till you can't manage your own water supply then go after that stretch of land? They were suppose to have, what, two more resiviors built by now? I'm sure they're blaming the Army core of engineers for everything though.
