Felton's former employer got them tonight. It appears to be time for me to put together my unsolicited list of candidates for Damon Evans.

They better keep buliding. A 28 point loss to Murray State and a defeat at the hands of a mediocre Houston team tends to obscure good wins.

No argument, but beating Louisville is probably going to be the best resume item for any of the mid majors.

I don't see WKU making it, but they have a couple of the things they need.

Did you guys see that Auburn is playing Xavier tonight? That one could get ugly.

As of right now, and I know its early, but the SEC Tournament is shaping up to be an exercise in futility. The kind of tourney that the Vols would be in a no win situation....You win it, so what, you lose in it and OMG.

I don't care how bad the competition in Tampa is. We haven't won it since 1979.

Because of current personnel? Or just as a program, both current and future potential?
A good coach can recruit Atlanta and get UGA in pretty good shape. The coach at Auburn has to be more creative in finding players.

Not really. I think those jobs are more different than they are similar.
That's true, but I'm of the mind that the best coach is the best coach.

Any strong candidate is going to have a hard time taking either of the positions unless the respective ADs show some sort of renewed commitment.

Felton is to be applauded for kicking half a dozen guys off the team every year, but ya gotta make some progress at some point.

I'll never forget that SEC Tourny run he pulled out of thin air last year.
Quite impressive.

Auburn is in the process of building a new arena.
