nice! A road win would boost this teams already surging confidence. Do you think fox will try and pressure our guards any?

i watched them play against alabama and part of the florida game, they lost both of these by around 20+. they really dont look that good in any aspect of the game, as long as we come out with the same tenacity and effort we have recently this should be a relatively easy victory.

thats the part that makes me nervous. We have really stepped it up against the best the sec has to offer so im nervous about middle of the pack / bottom tier sec opponents. I just wonder if this is the type of team that plays better with their backs to the wall when nobody gives them a chance. I just hope we keep the same level of intensity we've seen

im very curious to see this i think it will really give us an idea on what to expect from ccm. does he have his players ready and playing with the same intensity against the bottom dwellers as he does against the top teams.

If we play like we did the last three games, we should win. But conference road games are never gimmes, particularly not when sandwiched between your biggest rival and a marquee non-con

Depends on which TN team shows up. I think with Stokes on the team, he will quitely become a leader over time and not let this team play down to the level of their competition (Charleston, AP, Oakland). At the same time, I think the entire team has finally bought in to CCM's system. THe one's that haven't are riding the pine...
VOls could pick up their first raod win of the season at GA

This game will give us more background on where this team is headed.

It's easy to get up for ranked teams like Fla, Miss St and Ky. It's not so easy to be motivated for the UGA, USCjr and Auburns of the world.

Agreed.

Dawgs probably need this game as much as the vols. Vols are going to have to absorb UGA's best effort to win this Contest. Cuonzo is going to have the team ready to play, its his time to shine.

I watched a little the other night. Can't even recall who they were playing, but UGA looked sloppy and unmotivated, a bit lethagric I suppose. I can't evaluate their talent and skill from this, but if UGA plays the way I saw them the other night, it's not gonna be pretty.

It sounds lie the game I was watching it was bama that they played. They really just didn't seem to be exceptionally good in any aspect of the game. They still have that Robinson kid and ware who are players but losing Thompkins and Leslie really hurt them. If ccm can get his team ready to play like he has the last 3 games we should win easily. I'm very interested to see how ccm gets his guy to play coming off those losses.

Georgia very weak inside. Defend the perimeter/three point line and feed the post on offense.

We'll get their best game of the season.
We always do.
Think we'll pull it out though.

They are historically one of the worst, if not the worst b-ball program in the conference and this years edition looks to maintain that approach.

They've got a final 4 and we don't.

UGA only has themselves to blame for being mediocre. They have tons of talent in their own backyard and never taken it serious enough to be a really good program.
