Would we rather one of the young QBs start, or Joe T.? I'd be interested in seeing if the analysis of the posters changes any if Joe T. gets the start?

It's a good question. Joe T is supposed to practice this week isn't he?

Richt, I understand, has said Joe T. will practice and see how he does. I have a hunch if he can go, he will. I would imagine Richt has to be more comfortable with Joe T. against our D than either Stafford or Cox.

I would rather see us play against the 2 freshmen than Joe T. Not that he is really talented, he isn't. He reminds me of a Rick Clausen. No talent, but can get the job done when noone really thinks he can. I think we have no problem if the 2 freshmen are alternating reps. Joe T almost beat Florida last year and was the reason Georgia looked better the first couple games as opposed to the dismal performances against Ole Miss and Colorado.

I just hope our d is up to the challenge, and hopefully whoever is their QB isn't quite ready yet!!!

The ajc (atlanta newspaper) quotes Richt saying that he is "leaning" towards starting Joe T. Which is fine with me. He's the least talented of their three qbs, he'll be rusty coming off an injury, and you know theyll still be rotating qbs so he wont have any chance to find a rhythm.

It's not really the talent I'm concerned with. While I agree Joe T. is least talented of the three, he is also the least likely to make mistakes, IMO. And I think we need to force QB mistakes to win this game. A very plain, non impressive performance by Joe T. or one of the others could really give us problems. We need to keep our D off the field and theirs on as much as possible.

IMO, If Joe T. does play then UGA's playbook gets bigger, on the other hand if the two freshman play then the playbook will be small. I would rather see them limited on what they can do.

But MOST IMPORTANT the Vols have to stop the run and Chavis has to play a lot of guys on defense.

Did anyone else notice that Vegas already has UT as the favorites. Im Glad we are underdogs at home. Not that the team will nead any extra motivation but I'm sure that will get the blood boiling.

No Im just hoping we play well, because I haven't seen us do it really at all this year. I just dont understand how we can come out flat two weeks in a row.

Rotating inexperienced QBs. We're experts on the subject.

I know I just didn't want to say it out loud. I dont know what to do. If we lose my family will be playing rocky top all year:BANGHEAD2:

Georgia has been a home dog once since Mark Richt came to Athens, and they are 0-1.

It was in 2001. :/

I think we will need to get some pressure and sacks on him early and get him off balance. If he goes with a few 3 and outs Richt will make the change to one of the other guys which gives us a better chance to win.
