Georgia running back Kregg Lumpkin was involved in a collision while driving his motorized scooter Monday on campus but suffered only lacerations to his forearm.

Lumpkin was knocked from the scooter when he collided with a university vehicle, according to an Athletic Association release.

Georgia physicians evaluated Lumpkin, and medical tests revealed no further injuries. Stitches were not needed for the lacerations and he is not expected to miss any action.

Lumpkin missed all of last season after suffering a knee injury on the first day of preseason practice. The 6-foot-1, 222-pound sophomore from Lithonia took part in spring practices, but was held out of contract drills while still recovering from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.

Actually, I think I saw a story that all the UGA fball players ride them. It was really funny seeing their OL on them.

Yeah, CBS had it as one of their halftime features last season David Pollack and some other due riding b!tch on the back of his little 25 cc motor scooter. It was one of the gheyest things I've every seen...

Please tell me our players don't ride around campus on those. Please.

To the injured player, sorry, but maybe riding around the streets on a 50 lb scooter isn't such a hot idea after all. Duh...

Yea I seen that special to.

Lil red mopeds with that UGly logo on them'

If im the Coach of a major SEC team with top notch players' id think a 30-50yard walk to the practice field "might" not wind them?

Maybe they should only ride them onto the field during pre-game :dlol:

:eek:lol: Yeah, to me, a "laceration" implies something large enough to require stitches. But, then again, would the article have sounded as impressive if it had read:

"Georgia running back Kregg Lumpkin fell off of his gay little scooter and scraped up his arm. Whoop-dee-doo."

I wonder if an investigation is pending as to whether or not he will be arrested or suspended like the rest of the players in the SEC.

If it had happened at Alabama there would be a conspiracy spreading like wildfire about how Phil Fulmer was driving that car that hit him.
