Georgia running back Kregg Lumpkin was involved in a collision while driving his motorized scooter Monday on campus but suffered only lacerations to his forearm.
Lumpkin was knocked from the scooter when he collided with a university vehicle, according to an Athletic Association release.
Georgia physicians evaluated Lumpkin, and medical tests revealed no further injuries. Stitches were not needed for the lacerations and he is not expected to miss any action.
Lumpkin missed all of last season after suffering a knee injury on the first day of preseason practice. The 6-foot-1, 222-pound sophomore from Lithonia took part in spring practices, but was held out of contract drills while still recovering from a torn left anterior cruciate ligament.
