Midway through the 4th quarter, it's 38-35 Southern.

Ga Tech at one point was up 35-10 at halftime.

This has been a great 2nd half by GSU. They have a solid club. Glad they aren't on our schedule.

Wow, first play I see they just about turned it over. Terrible execution on the option.

Ga Southern just got saved from a miracle of a disaster.

They ran the option and botched the pitch, luckily the ref called it a forward pass and said it was dead.

It will be interesting to see how they do in the Sunbelt this year. Based on this game and the NC State game I would say they will be near the top of the league.

They gave it to GT.


Here's where Tech manages to avoid what really should be a blown game of pretty epic proportions.

And there it is. GT scores a TD with 23 seconds left.

If not for Southern running that option...at probably the one time you don't want to run risky plays (when killing clock, 1st down at the GT 28 with 4:30 left and a 3 point lead)...GT would have come out of this game with a loss

(which oddly enough might push that program in the right direction)

GT was lucky to win this. GT will once again stagger around to a 7-5 or 8-4 record and get a minor Bowl once again.
