What I don’t understand is why are they pushing this crap about OSU or Mich could still get in with a close loss, while there argument against us is not winning or being in conference championship when neither of the loser of that game will either. Bunch of hogwash.Tennessee wants UM/Ohio St to be a blowout. It would knock the loser out. A close game and they both have a chance to make it.
It is BS. The media hates Tennessee for some reason. They love Bama, Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio St doesn't seem to matter what they do.What I don’t understand is why are they pushing this crap about OSU or Mich could still get in with a close loss, while there argument against us is not winning or being in conference championship when neither of the loser of that game will either. And not get jumped by Ohio St or Michigan.
Georgia being number 1 favors us.
I won’t be surprised if we don’t see that beginning to happen this week. We may bump TCU out of the 4 spot so we quietly “move” into the 3 spot eventually. Still a lot of football to play and a lot can happen. The only effect UGA has on us if we finish 11-1 is what seed we get.
At 11-1, we will be the 3 seed if UGA wins out and gets the #1 spot. If they drop a game in Atlanta, we will be the #4 seed as 11-1 and UGA would be 2/3. CFP will prevent an All SEC semi

Actually teams in the top 5 that lose this year have fallen 3-4 spots no matter the score. Bama was #3 when they lost to us by 3 on the road & they fell from 3 to 6. We lost by 14 on the road & fell 4 spots. If you're in the top 5 and u lose, you're falling out of the top 5 regardless of score. If it’s a closer game, a 2 team who loses to a 3 team would just slide down 2 spots
But if 2 team loses by 21plus, they slide down like 6
If LSU beats dawgs. Georgia will still get in along with LSUActually teams in the top 5 that lose this year have fallen 3-4 spots no matter the score.
