Georgia still has to win out...

Yeah still need a tcu loss to feel good. Don’t want LSU beating UGA or Ohio state losing to Michigan. Leaves too much up to the committee.
Well OSU or Michigan play during regular season. We don’t need a blowout type game.

Need TCU and USC to make the path easier. UM or Ohio St destroying the other helps even more.

Tennessee wants UM/Ohio St to be a blowout. It would knock the loser out. A close game and they both have a chance to make it.
What I don’t understand is why are they pushing this crap about OSU or Mich could still get in with a close loss, while there argument against us is not winning or being in conference championship when neither of the loser of that game will either. Bunch of hogwash.

It is BS. The media hates Tennessee for some reason. They love Bama, Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio St doesn't seem to matter what they do.

If it’s a closer game, a 2 team who loses to a 3 team would just slide down 2 spots
But if 2 team loses by 21plus, they slide down like 6

The loser is going to fall outside of the top 4 regardless of whether or not it’s a blowout. And said loser will not have another game afterwards. That’ll be it for them.

And not get jumped by Ohio St or Michigan.
Georgia being number 1 favors us.

The only effect UGA has on us if we finish 11-1 is what seed we get.

At 11-1, we will be the 3 seed if UGA wins out and gets the #1 spot. If they drop a game in Atlanta, we will be the #4 seed as 11-1 and UGA would be 2/3. CFP will prevent an All SEC semi

I won’t be surprised if we don’t see that beginning to happen this week. We may bump TCU out of the 4 spot so we quietly “move” into the 3 spot eventually. Still a lot of football to play and a lot can happen.

I think TCU stays at 4..... Media will build up this great win over a 3 loss Texas team like it was a matchup of playoff contending teams...

Last night just proved that TCU will get merk'd by any of the other top 6 teams....

TCU would probably only be a toss up with USC.

If TCU goes on to win by 7-10 points for 5 straight games over awful teams, they can't just skate to a 3 seed.

10 point win vs 4 win WVU
10 point win vs 5 win TTU
7 point win vs 6 win Texas
Next Week is 6-4 Baylor
Finale is likely 4-7 Iowa State

Actually teams in the top 5 that lose this year have fallen 3-4 spots no matter the score. Bama was #3 when they lost to us by 3 on the road & they fell from 3 to 6. We lost by 14 on the road & fell 4 spots. If you're in the top 5 and u lose, you're falling out of the top 5 regardless of score.

If LSU beats dawgs. Georgia will still get in along with LSU

LSU won't get in with a 13-0 TCU in front of them.

Since 13-0 or 12-1 UGA and 11-1 Tennessee are locks for the playoff, along with 13-0 Big Ten Champ, LSU would get blocked by a team they lost head to head and a undefeated G5 champ (TCU)....
