Georgia vs. FSU for the national championship?

If they want to show the world that the committee got it wrong they need to either win outright or at least keep it competitive.

That being said it’ll be a snooze fest by half. Georgia will be out for blood and want to prove why they deserve to be in the CFP. If they didn’t feel cheated then they may keep it close for 3 quarters.

I wouldn’t be so sure. Georgia tends to not show up for non-playoff bowl games. They lost to Texas back in 2019 as heavy favorites and were lucky to beat Cincinnati back in 2020. Also, FSU will have a massive chip on their shoulder.

If FSU played UGA in the CFP and not a NY6 game I’d take UGA by 3 scores. I do expect UGA to be just as pissed off as FSU.

Maybe but the further out you get, the less of a case you have. Sure, #13 will b**** next year, but they won't have a good of a case as #5 this year. No system is perfect, but some are clearly better than others.

People are wildly overlooking this. They are deep and talented and did better vs that LSU offense than any team this year, including Alabama. They are the 6th best scoring defense in CFB. The top 4 are all Big 10 teams, which speaks to that conferences total lack of offense.

Lsu is obviously the best offense they faced and honestly the only one. They got them game 1 instead of game 9 when he was a well oiled machine and started moving into the heisman race. Now he's the likely winner. They have a bad SOS and just like iowa nobody knows how good they are because of that. We about to find out how good a bunch of teams really are, like Michigan and Washington, FSU, etc, or if they've been propped up by weak teams
