I think people are overreacting to UGA's losses. Both USC and BSU were ranked ahead of them, so shouldn't they have lost? Georgia gave south Carolina all they could handle, and Boise is a legit top 5 team. They have proven that year after year.

I think this Georgia team could be better than people are thinking.

Both games were in atlanta or athens...and georgia has much more talent than either team. It is very difficult to defend richt these days.

I'd argue with you on that point as it pertains to yesterday. SC is loaded.

Georgia should be consistently ranked in the top 15 with the talent they bring in every year. Sc has closed the gap significantly...but they should not be playing better than georgia should. I think sc is overachieving for their talent.

SC has flat out hit the jackpot the past few years with in state talent.

That's the point - It's only USC and BSU. USC lost five games last year, and a couple loses were blowouts. These are not powerhouse football programs they are playing like Florida, Alabama, TN, Auburn, or LSU. You don't lose to second tier teams when you get six months to prepare for a home game.

TIFWIW, I read something that a Vegas oddsmaker said that Boise would be favored against every team except OU if they were to play in a neutral field. I'd say they're pretty good.

USCe may have the most balanced offense in the SEC. Lattimore is a man amongst boys, that kid is the real deal.

I have a hard time believing that they would be favored over Bama or LSU right now. Not that any of it matters.

I think BSU is a legit top 5 team, and I think USC is a legit top 15 team.

Therefore, they both should beat UGA, and UGA put up a great fight against USC.

I think UGA will do better than last year.

I agree that both Boise and Carolina are legit. At the same time, I've been scratching my head since the early preseason polls why GA was ever ranked in the top 25. There was just no reason - losing season, lost their best WR, lots of injuries and dismissed players, a good but still a sophomore QB, the list goes on. I think GA will still go bowling and have a winning season, but they were never a top 25 team this year. They look like a good middle of the pack SEC team, but not a BCS title contender.

The question is how does the GA team deal with losing a nail biter and getting their faces rubbed in the dirt by Boise. They rallied well to play SC but I've got to figure that loss took some toll on their psyche. Could be wrong I hope we whip em' win they get to Neyland. I agree they were a decent looking club against SC. Beatable though.

With Georgia in the middle of a recruiting hot bed they should have more titles instead of struggling..

I agree after watching the UGA/USCe game I have the feeling if UGA puts it together they could be scary good. When given time Murray is as good as anybody and he has quite a few weapons including that 3* Bennett kid. Obviously Crowell looks like he is going to be a stud. It just seems like the same ole story with UGA you look at them and think there loaded but it just doesn't translate to the field like it should. They are the Clemson of the SEC. That said if Richt gets the boot and they make the right hire UGA could be playing for championships immediately. God I hope they don't fire Richt.

USCjr has shown some flashes but for the most part the other team beats themselves. ECU blew a nice lead & UGA just flat out did everything in the world to give the game away.
