To the Georgia people on here, who is your QB going into next year? (Without naming someone like Newman who isn't there.)
Is it Beck?...It can't possibly be that other guy who played vs LSU, he's obviously garbage...Not needling y'all this time, I'm just surprised Fromm left and wasn't sure they had behind him.

Will probably be a guy who started for his high school team...

unlike, you know who. :)

How about Felipe "Fumble-Fingers" Franks as your next Georgia Bulldog QB...?

They will find someone out there.

He better be fast with that woeful o-line

He got plenty of experience behind terrible O-lines 2 out of his 3 years starting at UF.

Not decided right now. Beck will be a frosh, Mathis a redshirt freshman (still not cleared after brain surgery, possible he never gets cleared), Stetson Bennett, and Austin Kirksey. UGA is apparently looking at the WF QB and Chase Brice may transfer from Clemson and have 2 years. King is a pipe dream since he’s still not in the portal. Supposedly the WF guy Newman is the most likely, which is decent news since I’ll have gifs any time he throws an int.

I’m guessing Georgia will roll with the true freshman QB. Try to play it conservative on offense and win low scoring games. I don’t think that will work in the SEC but it seems to be Smart’s preference.

If the staff was sold on Beck or Mathis I could see it. Would give them a year to click with Pickens, Smith, Burton, Rosemy, and Washington. I don’t think Beck is good enough to make a run as a frosh and still unsure when Mathis gets cleared.

Had no idea how serious of a situation Mathis was in... apparently the UGA trainer saved his life by recognizing the probability of a cyst from the symptoms and rushed D'wan to the ER

Newman should come to Tennessee. Look what Chaney's departure did to Fromm's stats. With Trey Smith staying and Cade Mays coming, our line will be so stacked. In 2020, Tennessee is a better destination for a one year NFL audition.

Is UT looking for grad transfer QB’s? Seems like their QB room is set.

They’re not. They have JG, Bailey, either Shrout or Maurer (doubt both stay) and then Kashmir Hill, PWO from Maryland who has some experience.

Who is the projected starter next year? Maurer looked great against UGA and Bailey could end up a 5*. The plan for those two to battle it out?

JG is the projected starter with Bailey/Maurer battling the backup spot. Things are fluid though.
