Ainge and the defense will get the headlines, but how about Riggs stepping up tonight? He didn't have eye popping numbers, but he sure got some tough yards against a defense that was selling out to stop the run.

Sure did.

Of course you've got to give Trooper a big helpin' of that love too. Riggs was a kid who'd given up on being appreciated because everybody else seemed to have given up on him due to his early bad work habits and attitude. In less than 1 year, Trooper not only overcame the kid's why-try-if-they-assume-I'm-a-loser attitude, but fired up his heart and will to the point that he was not just ready but able to step up and act like a starting RB against a #3 team when our true starter wasn't "on" tonight.

Riggs got 102 yds today , imagine what he could do if he quit tippy toeing into the hole. He needs some Majors north-south running and learn about yards after contact, no more Hucking and Bucking!!! Go back and watch film of Travis Stephens running an you will see a guy hitting the hole at wide open.

The comfort of women will always be an equally dear and dire thing.

Houston would make 2 yards carrying the ball, and then Riggs would make some big gains. Very happy for Riggs.

How come they always show Anthony Munoz and never Gerald Riggs Sr. at the games? Doesn't he come?
