I just listened to the broadcast...and I still feel the same as I did a month ago. I think the Vols are at the very least sweet sixteeners. I think now as I did then, when I called in to the show (unavoidable technical glitch here) and stated that the Vols BB team had a unique chemistry and a great coach. To sharpen this point Ill say this again....ask yourself this question. If the Vols football team had NOT been called the preseason #3 team and then had the mother of all meltdowns....would you honestly be as conservative in this BB team evaluations/predictions? I think the Vol faithfull went ultra conservative after the 4th football game and has'nt yet realeased its grip on safe underestimation since. The vast majority of Vols football fans, especially those conservatives who yell Bruce Pearl dynasty after their 15 games into it, then ruthlessly admonish any one for suggesting they werent a day 1 supporter....are slowly starting to safely admit the BB Vols are gonna make it to the dance. Its this safe underestimation of expectations that make neyland stadium as well as thompson bolin arena weally weally quiet...maybe we're hunting wabbits......
