VolNation.com has granted me (Larkin) and a long time lurker of the board, Jay Hizzy, space on the site for a Podcast.

A Podcast is a self-produced, self-published, "syndicated" talk show about Tennessee sports and whatever happens to land in our melons for an hour a week.

Our goal is to bring you a show that will combine a bit of humor, interesting information and our opinions and insights on our beloved Tennessee Volunteers.

Each week we will have a topic allowing the VolNation posters to Get inVOLved with the program with the hopes of creating more interest.

Initially, the show will be recorded "live" on Monday nights and available for download soon thereafter.

If we could get him to call in, I would love to talk to that guy. He's one of my favorite writers, I tell you "fair and balanced" and Climer go hand in hand.

That's just a snazzy name for it. You will be able to stream or download it from the site using Windows Media Player or any mp3 player.

you can download itunes and save that podcast and put it in the real player and then transfer to what you do have

It's not going to be released as a podcast for this first one. We are planning on just releasing an mp3 and a wmv file that you can click on from the site. I am helping them with the technical aspects and I am still doing some research on the proper formatting to make it a true podcast.

Freak, I bet you there is an acquaintance you have that could get us some great Ice Bears tickets. I love how low budget our hockey team is, the best they could do for a promo is to get a bunch of guys to get in a room and yell "ICE BEARS" about a hundred times while the local DJ hammers out the details.....

I just got the feed and am cleaning up the audio and getting ready to convert it. I hope to have it posted in the next 30 minutes to an hour. Will you still be up OWB?
