I will be there tonight. I have a friend sitting in 131 so I will be over your way around halftime. If you see a guy in a volnation shirt, it's probably me.

ahhh. the chicken sandwich at the tommy bowl, reminds me of no chicken I have ever tasted nor wanted to and the bread stays between your teeth for about 2 hours...yummy.

Better yet, Petros!!! nothing like developing methane gas in your upper intestines during the game...

Make sure you don't eat anything all day, then drink several beers and jello shots before the game tonight.

Then go and eat that Petro's. About 10 minutes later, you'll be puking it up all over the people in front of you.

A friend of mine did that once before a football game. Good times. Too bad we lost. LOL

Ya'll are crazy. The Petros ROCK. I love having the condiment bar "help yourself." At the Georgia game, I loaded up with about two pounds of japs and 3 or 4 packets of hot sauce, just to see the poor old lady behind us gasp in horror as I scarfed it all down. All she could say was "I hope you all aren't riding with him!"

Word to the wise: avoid the "pizza." Bad. Very bad.

Wish I could be there. Catch you at the Vandy game.

I was there... pretty disappointed by the student turnout tonight. I guess I was naieve to think that none of those sheep that showed up to the UF game were just there b/c of the free tuition giveaway.

We got there at 12:15ish, there were 10 people there. At 2 it was maybe 50. Students didn't show up til about 2:45, and even then there weren't many. It finally filled up a bit, but not anything like last week.

One note for students...aparantly starting next game, you can't stand in the risers without either a rocky top rowdies or orange nation shirt.

Overall I didn't think the crowd was overly excited about this game until the end stretch. Are we already getting complacent and thinking this wasn't a big game?

It definitely didn't have that amped up atmosphere from last Saturday... but a couple of big jams by Stanley brought the roof down... I'm talking about the one where Lofton got the ball off of a missed dunk on SC's end and threw the ball like a football down court to Asumnu who BLASTED the ball through the hoop... then the alley-oop. HOLY CRAP, stan has some hops!!!

Freak I wouldn't go as far as saying that the crowd didnt feel that it wasnt a big game but maybe it was cause how boring and sloppy the game was in the first half. They all went crazy when the vols actually did something worth going crazy about. Overall, the more they win the more that will come. Got to handle there next game vs. vandy.

I wouldn't say the first half was boring.

I also hate the philosophy that the fans need something to cheer about. WE ARE THERE TO HELP NOT TO SIT AND WATCH. The fans can make a big big difference. I am very concerned about what the turnout is going to be for Vandy. I may start a thread BEGGING people to show up and not break the 20,000 attendance streak.

A friend of mine called me just as the game was starting. He said just before the tipoff the SC radio guys were saying they didn't even recognize the place with a packed house and full of energy.

if the anti-Fulmers get their way it may be sooner than later :bad:
Scary to think for real Vol fans... UT is about to become a Football/BBall school. As has been noted a few times, 19 of 20 athletic teams made the postseason in their sport last year. UT is a sports school, flat out. We all know and talk about Football and Women's Basketball... but most don't realize the accomplishments of the Baseball, softball, women's soccer, swimming/diving, track and field, and tennis squads. They are ALL in the top 25 in the country in their sport.

Add Men's Hoops to that list! wOOt!!!
