3 days away from NSD and I haven't been this nervous about a class since I have followed recruiting. We could either cash in BIG or lose our butts. Gotta love the enthusiasm that our new staff has brought in a month. Just imagine what next year will be like.:rock:

So, you mean it isn't always like this? LOL

Some days I think life would've been easier if I hadn't found VolNation.

I agree Eric this year is driving me insane. I guess because there is that slight possibility that we will hit a grandslam.

I think it turns out very different than it looked 3 wks. ago. We will lose some guys WE wanted, and pick up some we didn't think we could get.

I know what you mean...though i'm a bit more anxious/nervous about something else...some minor, insignificant football game being played tomorrow :p

I can't imaging what the coaching staff is going through. Or will they have a good idea of how it's gonna turn out?

What an opportunity for Brown, Teague, King, Oku, Myles, Jackson, Hall, Lacy & some new friends have to just walk in and own the resurgence and dominate Neyland Stadium. All they have to do is get on board.

this isn't their first rodeo; i bet they've got a pretty good idea on most of these kids. Recruiting seems to be more an exercise in psychology than football and most of our coaches have been through the battles before... by the way let me say it always feels good to kick the crap out of florida

I won't be devastated if we don't get some of these guys we think are for sure. I understand that the staff is new.

I am about as anxious regarding Wednesday as I am what the coaching staff will do with our QB situation.

I've seen nothing the last few days to make me even the slightest bit nervous. I think our lesser recruits like phillips, and shackleford dropping off is a good thing. They wouldn't be letting them go if they didn't have better players lined up. They only have a certain number of scholarships to give. They are dumping the 3 star players to make room for more 4 star players.

I think they are confident they can get better players that fit better with their system than the players they are letting go. Whether those players sign this year or next, I don't know. They may not sign every scholarship they have available this year--and some may carry forward.

Eventually, this staff will sign beasts who fit (this year or next) to the schollies they have. They're just not giving them away.

it will be so bittersweet if we pick up several but lose stokes and oku though, i hope the guys already on board stay on board
