Getting Their Reward...

In the first video the lady's comment is in reference to the city taking responsibility for the plan to manage the crowd and distribution of the applications... don't think this is something she could do herself.

FWIW... Detroit, and essentially all of southern MI, have been hit harder than any other area in the U.S. The city is a shadow of what it once was. That said, instead of handing out $15M in assistance to those who show up and "qualify", I would much prefer the money be used to create jobs that would help clean up the city.

I would be willing to wager a bet that 25% of the money handed out yesterday is spent on cigerettes, alcohol, and drugs.

amazing what happens when you let the unions run things.........oh wait.......

Unions are the biggest reason the auto industry failed. However, when the people and local government were making money hand over fist there was absolutely nothing put back into the their local economy.

It's hard not to look at Detroit today and place blame squarely on the shoulders of the unions.

Bet the line would've been a little shorter if the program was for the people to "earn" money while cleaning up Detroit.

Years of corruption and failed leadership. People looking out for number one such as Kwame.

Thank you Obama, we love you. YDB it's taxpayer money.
