I catch this on Travel Channel sometimes because it's easily the best unintentional comedy show on TV today.
The over the top reactions just makes the show. Zak, the Criss Angel of ghost hunting, is easily the biggest tool i have never had the pleasure of meeting.

If it was simply a parody of ghost hunting shows it probably wouldn't be as funny. The fact they are so serious about every little dust particle and muffled noise that brings out a type of reaction you would expect from a 12 year old girl at a slumber party.

I have a VN homework assignment for IP. Watch an episode and come back and give us a full review of what you just witnessed.

My kids love the ghost hunters show. We made 2 poltergeist videos last night with tape and string attached to a coke can and my 8 yr old commentating.

Funny thread. I work for Travel Channel.
I can tell you that Zak has specially made shirts that show off his guns.
If you think this show is funny, you should have seen a special we aired on Valentine's Day. It was called "Ghostly Lovers." It was about women who had been sexually molested by ghosts.
For the record, not everything on the network is like this. Man vs. Food, Bizarre Foods, and Anthony Bourdain all are good shows. Also, there's a new show on right now called "Off Limits". It's pretty much a show about urban exploring. I really think it will do well.

Can I watch it online somewhere? I'm in a hipster "I don't own a tv" phase. Until football season, obviously.

Well, enough people must enjoy it. Zak's got his own "Paranormal challenge" show now.

This guy does only two things, host this show and workout.

It's hilarious when they pretend to be possessed.

If you only believe half of it how could you believe ANY of possession situations?

My theory is even if they are 100% planning on faking everything they do (possessions, apparitions, noises, etc), with the locations they go to I would say they are probably at least hearing or seeing some crazy things. I have done my share of ghost hunting and I never went to any places nearly as crazy as they do and I have has some pretty freaky experiences.

Couldn't pay me to do that stuff. I'd be so freaked out.
