Ghostland Tennessee will premier this Sunday night, February 24th on Animal Planet at 11PM Eastern/10PM Central.

The show will feature the Tennessee Wraith Chasers visiting haunted buildings, homes, and places in Tennessee.

Basically you mean another group of rednecks making the entire state of TN look like rednecks.

Reminds me of WVLT and WBIR who manages to find the most redneck people to interview and then anyone outside of TN thinks they must have an outhouse in their backyard.

I liked it. Didn't come off to me as the state of Tennessee was all rednecks. And honestly there is nothing wrong with rednecks.

Taking the box with the "ghost" in it into the woods and blowing it up and saying "That's how we do it in Tennessee" might have been juuussst a little bit hokey.

this show is pretty bad, even as ghost hunting shows go. honey boo boos dad just increases the cheese factor IMO

That entire area where that house is located at in Catalian Springs, is haunted as hell. It was one of the first populated areas in middle Tennessee, so, it is an old area with old souls. A girl I know, told me that she and her boyfriend were at his family's home, which is less than a half mile from wheremthat jome was last night. Her boyfriend was in the bathroom while she was laying on the bed. She closed her eyes amd whe she ooened them, a man wearing old looking clothes was standing there looking at her from 6 feet away. He disappeared after about 2-3 seconds. She saw that same man again in the same room and told her boyfriend's family. It was the ghost of a former owner of the house, who had hung himself,in that room over 150 years ago.

Cragfont, which was General George Winchester's home, is located less than a mile from there and is the most haunted home in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Wraith Chasers are a serious group, but the show decided to make them do silly stuff for the show.

Trying to get a second episode. I think the first one was a test run to see who would be interested. Their Facebook page keeps trying to get people to let Animal Planet know that they liked the show.

Oh ok. Thanks for the update. Weird that a channel would do that without at least running a few episodes. I like these type of shows to see the history of places more than anything.
