Tonight, even though it was a loss, was a massive middle finger to the rest of the SEC.

We played like Tennessee. We proved we can play with any one.

Tonight said, "SEC, in the coming years you'll have hell to pay."

Agreed, proud of the Vols today. Things are beginning to turn around. Tough luck on Pig at the end, that is all. We would've had them there.

Calm the horses. We proved tonight that our team can actually get up and play to its limited potential. Shockingly enough, due to circumstances that fell in our favor, this team should be 5-1. Florida and Uga tried like hell to give us those games. We don't know how to grab those wins just yet.

But once we level the talent playing field... A whole new level my friend.

What I am seeing is that talent may not be up to par yet - but coaching, ah, better watch out SEC, papa got a brand new bag!

Agree on Florida trying to give us the game, but I'm not sure how you can say Georgia did. THey had Zero turnovers and only 6 penalties. Tennessee earned everything they got.

Tennessee earned this tonight. Georgia didn't give them a damn thing. The team as a whole fought for 60+ minutes today and I am more proud to call myself a Vol fan tonight than I have in a very long time.

This was the best they have played this year. It definitely put a scare in Georgia, and hopefully impressed the recruits that were present tonight. I think we are headed in the right direction.

That is exactly what CBJ is teaching. Not just X's and O's, but how to win. It's an attitude and will take awhile. But, we are making big strides. Congratulations to players and staff.

The turnaround we've seen since Oregon is amazing. Sooner or later, we'll win a game like tonight and it's GAME ON!

^^^^ This right here! They punched us in the mouth first but we fought back. Was so happy that tears were welling up. Proud of the effort and intensity of Tennessee tonight! Go Vols!

UGa came in with key injuries and a conservative game plan. They endured more key injuries during the game and their game plan went further conservative. This helped us hang around and stay close. We then made some plays, got some confidence and almost came out with a win. Uga may not have given us the game but circumstances fell in our favor and kept the game closer than it should have been on paper.

I can't wait to see what this team is like in a few years when those young receivers and Branisel have some experience, not to mention that animal that is Jalen Hurd coming next year to be our RB.

Go Vols!
