i would imagine anything past this year is up in the air. Kyle has already said his retirement is imminent.

Chad Muccombie (sp) is the driver of the 45 for 09. Also for several races this year. I do not see that working. The Petty's first order of business has to be to hire a top end driver. Easier said than done I guess.

I think Bobby knows that now. He and Kyle are very good friends, and I am sure it will be tough for him to leave.
