It will be interesting - he has a lot of positive goodwill but people don't know much about him other than is his actions related to 9/11.

This will be the ugliest presidential election ever (IMHO).

If he does not get boggled down in the extreme right wing of the Republican party and actually leads instead of pander, I think he has the best shot a Republican can have against Hillary.........

So let me get this straight, all of the Republicans who get all puffed up and bent out of shape over the sanctity of marriage want Rudy to run?

Funny..

You know it, why, because no republican, moderate or extreme right, want a socialist in power.

It has come down to the survival of the United States now..........

Nope. Not that impressed with him. Has nothing to do with the issue of marriage.

I think the last thing this country needs is another 9/11 grandstander.

Remember when you said that you're glad you don't take me seriously? Well right back at ya..:)

I am about 50/50 on this.....If she is elected President it will not be long before the government is in complete control of every thing. Just read any of her books, especially it takes a village.

The military will not support her and lucky for me all the rednecks I know just need a minor excuse to use a firearm so I am looking for a second civil war, we are due...........

I am telling you, if she turns the country toward socialism, people will make a stand on the right, center and left.

Exactly, this is a case of by any means necessary. Republicans realize that Hillary cannot be elected.

He's a sleaze ball with many skeletons in his closet. He won't get the nomination. Besides, I'd like to see a candidate that doesn't run on something that happened in 2001.

Yea, cause that thing that happened in 2001 is so irrelevant to issues that face the country today.

Not sticking up for Rudy, just making a comment.

:hmm:

Very interesting that someone who has the same gun control, abortion, gay rights views as Hillary is considered the viable challenger. Rudy is all about big government and the welfare state. Interesting that many in the party who say McCain is too liberal to win are the same ones backing Rudy.

Considering the issues of his past, I wonder how many on the Religious Right can actually make themselves open hypocrites by endorsing him. He'll have Casino Ralph Reed helping him so that speaks volumes. And the front page smooch fest of him and his newest wife on the NYP has some thinking he's flaunting his new trophy wife.

It's strange since many of the GOP candidates have skeletons in their closets. It may be a battle for cleanest closets for the Primary.
