Everything on his twitter is pretty much his whole commentary for our game today. And BTW his Duke Blue Balls are "ouch" as they are losing at half to UVA. Moron.

I don't twitter. Are you talking about Dickie V? He is annoying> i am glad as usual that was at game and didn't have to hear his commentary. Or are you talking about Bilas? he is a homer for Duke but most of time he is spot on when Duke is not involved.

Vitale. He tweeted all the material he used today last night. I guess he had it pulled up and used it. One of the worst called games ever, and that's saying a lot because he has a lot. He added no insight as to the game of basketball today.

Dick Vitale also says that if Enes Kanter had gone to Washington, he would be eligible. That the NCAA has it out for Calipari. The guy is a jackass.

Calipari cheating, I can't believe that. Kanter got paid to play for Turkey. He shouldn't be allowed to play for Kentucky or any one. And Calipari tried to slip him by.

And neither half had any basketball insight. The only thing I remember him saying was Vandy is going to a zone, gotta get in the middle at the free throw line. That is the only basketball insight he provided us today. The other crap was generic crap my mother, who doesn't follow basketball could tell you.

This has been pointed out a number of times on ESPN by the staff. He may not be the most educated basketball commentator but his energy and enthusiasm brings new viewers to the game. Thats bout all he is good for and he will be the first to admit too im sure. He's getting up there in age to boot. I just remember as a teenager hearing him go off with the doopsy doos etc., and it was new and intrigued me into watching the game. If you are getting upset because this is what he does and everyone pretty much knows it and has accepted it for years then........ummmm ok.

We have to take this for what it is...sensationalism...with DV its been that way for a while...look for something...anything...and create a whole show around it....having been in radio myself for a while...that's usually how it works...dont take it personal...I think its just DV's obnoxious personality...and as for his opinion of CBP??? I think Bruce is big enough to handle an aging ole insignificant basketball analyst's rant....after all, Calipari is DV's guy anyway...he can't be for Bruce and Cal at the same time, can he???

I tweeted with him. Told him his act was played an tired and he was uninformed on his blasting of TN. He tweeted back said he just signed a 4 year extension with ESPN. I tweeted him back and said a sucker is born everyday. Jerry springer has a show and an audience but that doesn't make him entertaining or knowledgable...he quit tweeting..

There isnt a good reporter/announcer/commentator good enough for anybody on this site, may start a new thread devoted to it to decide. BTW, not backing Vitale, correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe he is the highest paid ESPN employee?

Bob Knight was smart to not associate with the Game Day crew today. DV is a blowhard that couldn't coach a lick and I agree brings no insight to the game. He blasted at Pearl all game and yet our team stepped up and won the game. I do think Bob Knight is the best college analyst on television. He really is a brilliant basketball mind and comes across much calmer on air than when he coached. All in all I am glad Dickie V was there to see us win. GBO

Bilas is good at his job, Bob Knight is as well.

ESPN also has made great hires such as Gruden in the NFL, and have formed a great trio that meshes well together IMO.

No matter what you think of Pearl, even his haters would love to see him lay our Dick Vitale when he sees him again. He gives him an interview only to get trashed for 2 hours during a game. It gets really old when there is an exciting basketball game going on and hearing a moron constantly bring it up. I have watched several UCONN games this year and have yet to seen their crap be brought up continuously.

Well, surprise surprise. Pendleton and his crew spent more than half the show this morning on, wait for it, the Pearl mess. Of course, all the "NEW" news.

Geez, I'm so tired of hearing the same old thing.
