When we had Chaney, we didin't have solid RB's that were fierce who could get xtra yards.

Jalen is just a freshmen.

Arkansas is putting up numbers against Texas A&M. Some of the plays look familiar. Their RB is nasty. And their QB seems average.

I just wanted to express my thoughts. Thank you.

Chaney sucked when he was here...if he cured that...why go back to the scene of the crime?

I can't do better than this.

Are you ***** kidding me?

The guy who had Cordarelle, Bray, and an NFL o-line and couldn't dial up a yard against Vandy?

I was one of the first to call out Chaney. Any flag football hero at UT could have scored points drawing plays up in the dirt with that offense.

You make a valid point

I never understood the love fest for Chaney. We had all the weapons on offense and he would 3 & out constantly.

I hated our offense under him. He never picked up a 3rd and short. All finess and no power.

Chaney's offenses averaged over 30 points a game at UT. I don't know what some of you were watching. The defense was the problem. Dooley lost his job and screwed the pooch when he tried to switch to a 3-4.

I like him, liked him when he was here. But you can't go back to anything connected to that stretch of Tennessee football.

I love how the people calling Bray the worst QB in UT history probably calling him a weapon in here. Come one, can't have it both ways. Patterson and Hunter I'll give you but any SEC team should have that kind of talent on any given team. Face it, Chaney put up good numbers, it's our D that always sucked. Plus Bray's choke factor.

Nope. We go after someone who wasn't here previously especially one who helped the program into the cellar

all Chaney had to do to become universally loved, was leave. Nothing makes the heart grow fonder than to be,well, gone.

Actually he'd probably go after another big east coordinator. Or maybe Navy's coach. Just run a straight triple option.

But he'd still recruit 1 pro style qb and no others.
