As a proud APPY alumn to go along with my beloved VOLS (graditated from both) just want to give a huge shout out for the NEERS to take down those gawd awful lizzards today. Hey, did it against meetchicken, who knows?

Got my Gameplan on...good day coming...Appy takes down the gators and THE VOLS PLASTER THE DORES!

I would love to see Florida get upset today as well. It's very possible. We would beat them by 14 points if we played them today, IMO.

Crossing the fingers for you.
App St had that huge win over Michigan in '07(?) that put them on the radar, hopefully they'll do the same in Gainesville.

Your an alum and refer to us as "Appy"? I thought only people who didn't know any better referred to Appalachian State as Appy.

Your an alum and refer to us as "Appy"? I thought only people who didn't know any better referred to Appalachian State as Appy.

I am an alumn...but all Vol first...guess that's why. Lived in Boone for 4 years...but still made the trek to K-town every Saturday for the Vols. TN born and bread...with a Masters from APPY, so ... maybe that doesn't make me legit Appalachian State, App State, Appalachian or Mountaineer (however you want to say it). Still pull for them every week. BTW...I've heard several APPY alumns call them APPY. But, hey, sorry I offended you. Don't get all pissy because the game's goin' south. I had much higher hopes than 35-0 at this point, even if a win was a LOOOONG shot.

I'm the same way. I love Appalachian but I would 10x rather be in Neyland on gameday. I go to a lot more UT games than APP games. I wasn't trying bust your balls just making a comment. I just have never heard APPY except on this board.
