This fan base desprately wants tee Martin and unlike some others I'll not name...he is actually getable and would probably love to be here.

It could only do positive things for fan morale, and considering current state that's valuable.

He should say "I left this place better than I found it" and "you're only upset because I did such a great job" before walking out at 11 pm and calling recruits from the locker room. IMO

People need to realize that it is not a lock for Tee to come even if he is offered here. Career wise, he would probably be taking a risk. He's got a nice thing going at USC.

I think this would really help Coach Jones get the fan base on board. Whether it is fair or unfair, a good portion of Tennessee fans are upset with the hire, getting Tee on board would only help. Tee has a reputation as a good recruiter as well, it would be a win win.

Career wise it would be better for him to come home. He knows he would be welcomed with open arms.

Not to mention that if Kiffin has another season like this one, he won't be coaching at SC much longer.

You do realize Kiffin will be on the hot seat this coming season, correct? I wouldn't call USC a very secure spot for an assistant coach right now. Kiffin had to fire his own dad this year.

Its a lock if he is offered and its not a good gig at all, especially with Lane being on the hotseat and sanctions are really about to start hitting SC. Plus he is a Vol grad and southern boy. And oh did I mention LWS said its a done deal, so we should be hearing we have a new WR coach very soon. Just hope they can keep Hinshaw and let him coach QB's or TE's.

I think Tee would love to come back. His wife? Not so much. She loves life in Southern Cal.
