This poll makes the assumptions that everyone would include Darnell Wright and Henry To'oto'o in their final three. If you do not, then your opinion is sh*t to begin with (with all due respect blah blah blah).

Also assumes that we're taking Anthony Harris as a blue shirt. Per VQ he is set up perfectly for this, and per @griddie, who most already know is at least somehow connected to NC recruiting, Harris and Pruitt are aligned with this plan.

Consider this poll not only from the obvious talent perspective, but also the risk as well. I.E. I think most would want George Pickens, but there have been repeated concerns about significant grade concerns and his ability to qualify. Is he worth the risk? etc...

Personally, I can make a case for wanting and being happy with any of the names on that list. Even an unheralded guy like Dywan Griffin. Shows great upside, measurables, and his highlights are insane. Would love to see what Pruitt could do with him at corner.

In a perfect world, I'd take Pickens obviously. But with our numbers and our roster, I don't think we can risk taking him if his grades are as bad as suggested.

So for me it comes down to Jammie Robinson and Jahkeem Green. Jammie because of his added special teams talents - any time you're compared to Devin Hester is a good thing. Jahkeem Green because of the help we need on the DL, plus how it would muck with uscjr. I wish we could've found a way to swap out Middleton for Green months ago and not even been in this situation.

Chris Russell I'm kind of eh on. Mostly because what a **** show his thread has turned into, I've largely avoided giving him any real consideration or even paid him that much attention. Also, if we're starting Crouch out at ILB, and we have To'oto'o at ILB in this class, is Russell really a must take compared to some other positions?

Eh... idk. I can see a scenario where Harris ends up at WR, and Beasley ends up at RB. So I can comfortably cast my vote for Jammie Robinson.

Really wish we had the numbers to get Green in here as well though.

What makes anyone think Pickens is even remotely an option?

Staff is still trying, but I agree he isn't likely. But had I not included him on the poll then some people would've complained about my poll and I'm already very very insecure about my poll.

Wright and HT of course. Marked Robinson just because it has always seemed like he wants to be a Vol. Would like Russell also, but who knows what he is really thinking.

Tough call between Cox and Russell. Both big needs.

Can you move Beasley to lb? If so, Cox. If he stays at safety or moves to RB, Russell.

Love Harris as a blue shirt. Want that kid on our team.

Wright: 5 star top tackle in America.

Harris: 4 star ballhawk safety.
We already have Tank to replace Warrior. We need a playmaker. On the otherside.

Solomon: 3 star super athletic and fast CB. You can never sign enough these. Because they are so few and far between.

I love the LBs left on the board. But Harrison, Crouch, Peterson, Allen, Banks, Bennet and Ignot will be outstanding in 2020. We can sign guys in 2020. (Barton, Memphis LBs, etc) that are awesome prospects that can contribute immediately as backups.

But our team speed and depth in the back end and OL need help NOW

Assuming you meant Robinson there instead of Solomon. But I agree our back end speed is a concern, but our DL depth is probably a more immediate need. That's why I was hoping Solomon's waiver would go through, but either way we'll be relying on a lot of inexperience on the DL next season. But anyway, it looks like we will finish strong on the 8th, and I'm stoked af for that. Go Vols.

I don't understand how we are only signing 22 when Bama is signing 29
Probably not a good idea to get them arguing again about the numbers and how they work. From what I've gathered we used 2019 scholarships with grad transfers so we don't have as many. AL didn't use all of their 25 in the 2018 class so they have more. The confusion comes from people stating that there us a rule that you can only take 25 each year.

Apparently I missed the math conversation. I thought with the medical retirements we were at being able to take 24. What happened?
