Vandy goes to a minor bowl and if Franklin beats NC State that will be his first win against a team that ended with a winning record unless Ole Miss wins and goes to 7-6. Bravo. Give him a lifetime contract.

You know our program has bottomed out when my Vanderbilt friends haven't even given me much grief. Last year I thought Franklin was a lot of fluff, but he clearly he is a decent coach. Never thought I'd ever see a day when the Dores had a better HFC than UT. SMDH

Probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of that game, but a lame duck coach should have never been allowed to coach in that game with a bowl game in contention. The sad part about that game was I fully expected that result. Apathy sucks.

It may have not changed the outcome, but I'd be willing to bet that the players wouldn't have quit in the 2nd half when they got down. They knew their coach was gone, and after the Mizzou loss, went through the motions in the last 2 games.

That team should've won at least 8 games with the talent he had at his diposal. Instead, the defense went from 26th to 109th and the team imploded along with the incompetent coach leading them.

Hopefully, Hart will rid UT of the Hamilton and Dooley stain and it'll just be a bad memory.

You guys do realize this is only the 2nd time Vandy has won 8+ games in almost 60 years right? It's also the first time since 1935 they've won 5+ SEC games. If my research was right, this is also the first time they've ever had back to back bowl games. I'd give him an extension too.

Go Wolfpack.....no matter what happens Vandy will always be Vandy & as much as alot of UT fans want to Fluff Franklin he is nothing but average"'very average......he sucked as OC @ maryland....he hasn't beat one good team while @ vandy yet alot of people on here Fluff the hell out of him.....to franklin & Vandy:the_finger:

Making fun of Candy is always acceptable. Just because they make two lower tier bowls doesn't mean jack sh*t. Candy got the benefit of playing a horrible Auburn team and a bad UT team in the same year. That rarely happens. Meanwhile, they avoided playing LSU, Bama or Texas A & M and their best win is against a mediocre Ole Miss team. They had the easiest schedule in the SEC outside of UGA.

You also obviously never met George Cafego. He'd be appalled at some of you.

So in the last week, we've had threads here poking fun at UGA fans after losing to Bama, UF fans after ND beat USC, and this one belittling Vandy's coaching situation.
