Very random, but if FSU had handled that differently, they could have made it. The injured QB should have been a "game time decision" for the ACC title game with a " knee sprain". They should have indicated that he would be back for the playoffs. Then once FSU was announced, then they could have told about the severity of the injury. Would anything have been different?

They should have downplayed the severity of a gruesome injury the entire CFB world saw?

Stevie Wonder thought that injury looked bad. There was no hiding it. There was also no hiding how bad FSU looked w/o their QB against 2 mid level teams.

He was injured 2 games before the ACC Championship Game weekend. In an extremely gruesome injury that everyone saw.

FSU still mad over the playoff snub - have refused to play in 2024.

Gus Malzahn will bring his wisdom to the Noles for a 2025 rebound.

Since everyone has already jumped on the fact that the injury was obvious-I will go another route-

With sports gambling being pervasive these days, the lawsuits coming would have been ugly. Heavy NCAA penalties would not be out of the question.
