I rarely open these, but I'm glad this was one of the few (I'm interested in the sustainable development field, BTW).

The piece about Sheryl Crow is funny as hell.

Disgusting?? I thought it was sort of sexy in a way. :ermm:

I wanted to ask her if she had ever thought of corn cobs. :no:

I wanted to ask her if she's ever been shrimping, or had a dirty nail, or a rusty hook. I'd like to donkey punch her

She needs a man like you. :)

A friend of mine gave Emilou Harris her first job in Nashville, it was a cool gig, she got to meet the top artists every day while making a living.

When she started pimping for peta, I asked a girl who saw her each day to sing her a song;

"I used to love you but it's all over now."

This is really why celebrities of almost all flavors need to be completely ignored. They are so self righteous, hypocritical to the extreme, and really just flat dumb. I need to stop getting so mad at them when they spew their fecal drivel and just laugh. One of the points was how much carbon they used to have concerts about saving carbon... that is what has struck me since day one of this crusade they are all on now. They don't even come close to living like the average person does (consumption wise), and they have no intention of ever changing. WE just need to change our habits. It absolutely boggles my mind.

I wonder if maybe we could get Larry the Cable guy and Ray Stevens to run, we might find a practical solution to our problems?

Honestly, I don't put much stock into what celebs say. It's not like that their political positions are important. So, if a celeb says something like "cut your time in the shower by half", or something like that, I don't pay any attention at all to it.

The only one that really got me up out of my seat was Sheryl Crow saying that we all should only use one sheet of toilet paper.

I won't get into details here, but lets just say that one sheet is about enough to figure out what I'm dealing with.
