Some of our players will have to decide if they want to play another year for the Vols or if it's time to try to make an NFL roster. I have some questions and hopefully some of you folks have some answers:
1) What does NIL money look like compared to a rookie salary for players not taken in the first two rounds?
2) Which of our players are projected to go high enough to make the difference more significant?
3) How can Tennessee sweeten the NIL pot to provide a stronger incentive to retain key players?
4) Which of our players considering declaring for the draft haven't finished their degree and could we formulate an NIL deal to pays an incentive to guys who graduate?

I found this (for 2020 draft):
The day two selections in the second and third round will all receive four-year contracts. The top second-round pick will sign a deal estimated to be a four-year, $8.68 million contract which includes a $3.87 million signing bonus, per Over the Cap. The last pick of the second round has a four-year, $5.24 million contract with a $1.37 million signing bonus.

The top pick in the third round lands a four-year, $4.94 million contract with a $1.15 million signing bonus. Day two ends with ten compensatory picks that project to have a four-year, $4.49 million contract with a $832,292 signing bonus.

Bryce Young - 3.2m NIL in 2022
CJ Stroud - 2.5m

Not enough sweetening around to beat the $$ in the first two rounds.

Where it could get interesting is Rbs. RBs have a greater value (in terms of projected wins, not in terms of NIL/Rookie Contracts) in college than they do the pros. So will there be some RBs who elect to stay in college longer if the money is close?

Small,Wright, Sampson will be a good three headed monster next year and Milton makes it good also I think we will be a more running team next year. And I saw both Wright and Sampson improve on blocking and not fumbling so they are getting coached.

Well who are you.

Someone who understands positional value. Off the ball LB is one of the lowest value positions in terms of wins/losses.

Your highest paid defenders will be edge rushers and corners

You add to that Banks character concerns and poor play, and it’s an easy no

Sack of Krystal’s should be enough.

He is the QB of the Defense and I just threw a number but say he gets something and he can improve his stock more.

They could just easily justify putting Beasley there. He had more production than Banks.

Banks is a really good athlete and he has enough good tape. He's better off going pro now imo

I could be wrong but I don’t see him getting drafted. If he can get a decent NIL deal, I’d come back if I were him. But I don’t think he will

From what I heard he doesn't have a good chance at pro but he sure has had moments at Tennessee but there was something missing this year I wonder what! And this is what NIL is going to do.
