Sitting in Section 323. Can't wait to watch us stomp some Tiger High arse!!

What can I expect at my first game??

This is the first game I'm going to also. Actually might be in seats close to you lol. I'm very excited to see live action.

Last 2 Memphis games I've been to at TBA have had a substantial showing. Not crazy, but very noticeable. Especially in the student section; seems like a ton UT students from Memphis are Tiger bball fans.

Hmm, never noticed anything all that significant. Theory makes sense though. Memphis is always one of our best showings crowd-wise. I think some of that Calipari hate still lingers.

Maybe it's just the students that make me think that. I've never sat away from the student section.

I love going to watch the vols play. I try to go to three or four basketball games a year. It's a great experience for any vols fan

My favorite one was when we beat Kansas a couple years ago.

My first game was the start of a life-long addiction. Don't fear it, because it is good! Enjoy!

Before my 1st basketball game, it was all about UT football. UT basketball became as important (and at times more important) after seeing Bernard King, Ernie Grunfeld, Mike Jackson, et al at my 1st game.

I've been to all UT home games vs Memphis and haven't really noticed that many Memphis fans. Te only game I have ever noticed visiting team fans is KY

I think my first game was at Stokely against Joe B. Hall's KY team.

All I remember was the chant from the crowd.....

"Sit Joe Sit, Sit Joe Sit, Sit Joe Sit"... anytime he stood up on the court.

I don't think I ever sat down.

Hell, the Calipari hate is everywhere.

Memphis travels pretty well for BB games. I know a lot of doctors and dentists from Memphis that attended UT for bachelors and UT Memphis (med) that are Memphis BB fans but UT football fans.
