Golden Tate expected to enter NFL Draft....

Wrong forum. Hate to break it to you but Lane Kiffin wouldn't have pulled it in either. We can blame it on Phil to ease the pain but he is a lifelong ND fan and devout Catholic, there was no other destination for him. Jimmy Clausen also has declared now too. Whoever takes over at ND is inheriting a mess.

Floyd will be back and maybe the new coach can get Crist to play well. There's definitely a lot of talent scattered around that team.

ND will have a losing season in 2010.

It seems to me that most of their problems are on defense. They can't stop anyone. If they get the right coach and defensive coordinator, they should be ok. It isn't like they play an SEC schedule.

They never do, but this is the 2nd time in the last 3 years that they aren't playing in a bowl.

By choice this time. It must be nice to not need the money. They could use the extra practice though.

They gave up 38 to Michigan, 34 to USC, 33 to UConn, and 45 to Stanford in losses. They gave up 30 to Michigan State and 30 to Washington but still managed to win.

They averaged over 30 PPG this year with their lowest total (20 pts) coming in a win over BC.

Weis should have fired his defensive staff.

I agree. Also, the stupidity of not playing in a bowl game is unbelievable. What does that say about the character of a team who won't at least try to finish their season with a winning record and play another game?
