Anyone seen it? Pretty gripping and well done. Lot's of tough questions to ponder.

Just watched it the other day on OnDemand. Was about to post a thread on it myself. Great, great movie.

I think Ben Affleck blows as an actor but turns out that he's a good director.

Great movie. I was shocked to find that Ben Afflack directed this but he did a good job. His brother Casey on the other hand is an outstanding actor.

When 4 year old Amanda McCready disappears from her home and the police make little headway in solving the case, the girl's aunt Beatrice McCready hires two private detectives Patrick Kenzie and Angie Gennaro. The detective freely admit that they have little experience with this type of case, but the family wants them for two reasons - they're not cops and they know the tough neighborhood in which they all live. As the case progresses, Kenzie and Gennaro face drug dealers, gangs and pedophiles. When they finally solve the case, they are faced with a moral dilemma that tears them apart.

I thought it might be about the Violent Femmes but was wrong...

BTW, the VF's Gone Baby Gone is one of the best videos ever.

EDIT - alright, I'm a "Dumas" - the VF's song is Gone Daddy Gone. Nothing to see here - move along.

i admit that I'm even greener than Casey's character, but I can't help but agree with him.

Very spectacular movie.
