Good Article about coach Azzanni and Wr improvment

I like how they are riding Paul Harris (making him wear 91 in practice), even though he's an early enrollee and the last staff would have let him "find his way". That will pay dividends for Paul and the program.

"Paul wasn't playing deserving of wearing the number one," Azzanni said. "Around here, it's real easy, we reward achievement. It's kind of a jab at him that he needs to play faster."

No mention of his shower hygiene, though?

If this had been spring practice last year and Tyler Bray had been charged with learning a new offense by this coaching staff, by a show of hands (posts); who believes Tyler would have extensively studied his playbook, followed his nutritional recommendations, and worked out as told by his coaches during spring practive and spring break?

Crickets.

I already feel better about the team reading things such as this. The childish game playing crap from players and coaches over the past whatever years is over. New sheriff/deputies in town and they are doing things by the book. It also appears the book is the most recent edition. Gotta love that even if it takes awhile to retool things.

I'm not sure if you've seen TB recently, but apparently somebody managed to motivate him to eat well and work out. Don't know if CBJ could have done that or not. There's really no way to tell.

Nothing in the article about him but I heard Jason Swain say Drae Bowles is going to be a beast.

Is that not a "great motivator"?

I never felt like TB gave his all for UT. He was talented but weak minded. IMO. I'm sure he will collect a nice paycheck but until he learns to "deal with it" he is going to always come up short.
so to answer your question, apparently not.

as a doughnut. Just didn't have the fire and leadership that you need in a QB.

Man who cares. TB is gone, wish him well and let's focus on our current QB battle. If you wanna bash someone, Dooley is the team tackling dummy.

You got to keep it light and fun during spring .There just feeling these guys out to see what there ceiling might be. I hope it's real high , we have had some of the best WRs in the country the last few years and we have not done much with them. This stuff ads to the team chemistry that the best thing we can hope for. We haven't had much of that lately.
